Nordic combined: the blue is second in race-2, behind the unbeatable Norwegian Westvold Hansen. Among men, Samuel Costa remains out of the top 30.

Gyda Westvold Hansen's brace characterized the Summer Grand Prix weekend as regards the women's Nordic combined, which was the protagonist in Villach.
The Norwegian talent dominated in Austria, as he had already done in Oberwiesenthal; in race 1 second place for the Austrian Annalena Slamik, closely followed by her compatriot Hirner. First among the Italians Veronica Gianmoena, eighth final place, while Lena Prinoth ranked 18th, but it is in race 2 that the great blue satisfaction with Annika Sieff arrived. The thirty returned to the podium, taking the place of honor behind Westvold Hansen, preceding in turn the Slovenian Volavsek, with Gianmoena ninth, Prinoth twentieth and Pinzani twenty-second.
Among the men, success in race 1 for the Finnish Ikka Herola, followed by the two Austrians Seidl and Rettenegger, no points for the Azzurri with Samuel Costa and Raffaelle Buzzi in the top 40, while the following day Costa himself missed the target finishing 31st (with Mariotti 39th). In race 2, however, Mario Seidl triumphed in front of Herola (in the sprint) and the other Austrian Fritz.
