In the spring meeting, the Sub-Committee for the Nordic Combined FIS, as well as advance the controversial proposal to create a women's circuit, has taken several important decisions regarding the future of the discipline in the Olympic optics.

The race director Lasse Ottesen explained that it will be asked the IOC to bring to 65 the number of athletes admitted to the Olympic Games in Pyeong Chang 2018, an increase of 10 units compared to Sochi 2014.
