This weekend in Ruka (Fin) opened the Nordic Combined World Cup. In the land of Santa Claus on Saturday an individual trial was staged, on Sunday a team event.

The first individual competition of the season was won by Mario Seidl, able to make the difference in the first fraction. Next week the World Cup will move to Norway, in Lillehammer, where three individual races are scheduled. In the location that hosted the Olympic Games in 1994, there were snowmaking problems, but competitions should be held regularly.
