Today in Lahti there has been a very hard-fought Nordic 4x5km match, with Germany having won the gold medal in front of Norway and Austria.

In the first segment of Gundersen, Germany immediately made clear its intentions by making three manual leaps with Luis Lehnert, Simon Huettel and Julian Schmid. David Mach's leap is less impeccable, allowing his opponents to reduce the gap. In second place was also Norway with three good jumps (Skoglund, Oftebro, Skoglund) and a less good of Flatla. Austria was placed in third position at the end of the jump session.
Jump ranking.
In the 4x5km the battle was repeated to 3 for the gold medal with a continuous comparison in all the villages. In the first part Germany and Norway led with Lehnert and Skoglund, with the Austrian Dagn in recovery but without upheavals. The second fraction was characterized by the attack of Flatla that managed to detach the Germans and to give the change to the mate Oftebro in first position. And it is here that the third fractionist has made Norway's dreams of glory disappear, in the middle of the 5km he was the victim of a crisis that precipitated him in third place. The first two positions occupied by Austria with Lamparter in first position and the German Mach in second remained until the fourth and last change. In the last fraction the Teutonic Schmid concluded the comeback by dragging Germany on the highest step of the podium (Lehnert, Huettel, Schmid, Mach). Silver medal for Norway at 14 '' '' 3 (Skoglund, Oftebro, Skoglund, Flatla) and bronze medal for Austria at 22 '' '' 5 (Dagn, Teeling, Lamparter, Rainer).
Italy closes eighth at 3''02 '' '' 7 recovering two positions after the first jump segment. Not very bright on the small jump of Lahti then knew how to climb the rankings with 4 good fractions on the narrow skies, the blues at the start were Aaron Kostner, Giulio Bezzi, Iacopo Bortolas and Domenico Mariotti.
Final ranking.
