A very important weekend of races for the Italian who on the snow at home found the polish of the best times on the springboard, obtaining a 14th place and touching the podium in the second race. Double for Jarl Magnus Riiber, ruler of the World Cup.

After closing the first race in Val di Fiemme at 14th and making a good leap in Team Sprint, Alessandro Pittin raised the bar in Race 2, finding a result in the top 5 but above all excellent sensations on the springboard. The blue in fact closed the jump series in 7th place, just 14 "from the tread, the Japanese Ryota Yamamoto. The cross-country fraction was then very balanced, with even 19 athletes who were part of the leading group Pittin led a very shrewd race, always in the top positions, but never attacked, so the race was decided in a sprint and the Italian finished fifth.
Race that was won by Jarl Magnus Riiber in front of the eternal Eric Frenzel and Vinzenz Geiger. The Norwegian had already triumphed in Race 1, ahead of Ilkka Herola and Geiger himself by about ten seconds. With the double in Val di Fiemme Riiber has thus risen to 4 seasonal victories and 31 in career in the World Cup. The general classification is clear: the Norwegian leads with 560 points, the result of 4 successes and 2 second places, 189 more than Geiger. An absolute domination that has already directed the crystal ball towards Norway.
Positive weekend for the Italian team. In addition to Pittin, Samuel Costa (20th in Race 2) and Raffaele Buzzi, who collected a 24th and 28th place, did well and scored points. The World Cup will now move to Finland, in Lahti, where two Gundersen and another Team Sprint are scheduled for next week.
