Second career podium in the World Cup for the junior world champion, who in the first race at Schonach won a splendid third place behind two Japanese girls. In the men's field, Jarl Magnus Riiber still triumphs, regaining the yellow bib as leader of the overall and grabbing Manninen in the CdM victories.

After the third place in the opening race of the season in Lillehammer and the junior world title obtained ten days ago in the Zakopane review, here is another satisfaction for Annika Sieff, a beacon of the Nordic combined. In the men's field, on the other hand, Jarl Magnus Riiber's triumph came, allowing him to overtake Johannes Lamparter in the standings. However, the Austrian defended himself well, finishing second and limiting the damage. Now the two are separated by a single point and everything will be decided tomorrow, in the final race of the season.
Today is a historic success for Riiber, because it allows him to become, together with Manninen, the most successful in the World Cup in the history of the discipline. The two are now paired with 48 wins and tomorrow the Norwegian could become the new record man.
Third place of the day for an overwhelming Joergen Graabak, in great comeback from 15th position. In the final, the Norwegian beat Vinzenz Geiger 4th in a sprint, while the Finnish Herola finished 5th ahead of Akito Watabe, Estonian Ilves and Austrian Rehrl. Ryota Yamamoto 9th and Eric Frenzel 10th completed the top 10. At home Italy came another match without points. The best was Buzzi 32nd, while Costa and Pittin finished in 35th and 36th place respectively.
