Nordic combined: Bortolas signs an encore in Oberwiesenthal, three blue in the top ten

Another success of the very young Trentino in the Alpen Cup; during the weekend also the competitions of the various jumping circuits.

Iacopo Bortolas gives an encore in the Alpen Cup circuit as regards the Nordic combined, with two victories in the space of 24 hours obtained in Oberwiesenthal. The eighteen-year-old from Trentino, after his success on Saturday, dominated yesterday in the first half of the race with an excellent jump, and then checked on the roller skis and preceded by 41 seconds the German Tristan Sommerfeldt, second ahead of compatriot Jan Andersen. Only 18th Stefano Radovan, who instead had shone with seventh place in the first race of the weekend in Germany, while Luca Liebener, Manuel Facchini and Bryan Venturini finish in 58th, 59th and 60th place respectively. Same winner also in the women's race, with the Slovenian Silva Verbic who scores twice and Germany finds themselves having to settle again for second and third place with Trine Goepfert and Magdalena Burger. Among the Italians, seventh position for Giada Delugan, eighth Lena Prinoth and tenth Greta Pinzani. SKI JUMPING In the men's Continental Cup stage in Bischofshofen, on the HS142 springboard, the Austrian Daniel Tschofenig (251.5 pt) won over the Slovenian Anze Lanisek (240.9) and the Estonian Artti Aigro (239.5). Andrea Campregher sixtieth, followed by Mattia Galiani (64th) and Daniel Moroder (66th). In the women's race scheduled in Liberec, valid for the Alpen Cup, victory for the Slovenian Jerneja Repinc Zupancic (246.6 pt), second compatriot Nika Prevc (240.0) and third the German Michelle Goebel (235.0). The blue Noelia Vuerich and Martina Zanitzer finished 19th and 23rd respectively.
