In the morning the jump segment was won by Germany (Frenzel - Faisst - Weber - Geiger) who imposed a gap of 21 "to the Norwegian rivals (Riiber - Oftebro - Graabak - Bjoernstad) and one minute to Austria and Japan, with France , The United States and Italy further away and outside the podium area. The background test had as a script the pursuit of Norway against the treads; comeback that was complete at the end of the third fraction thanks to Graabak, able to close the gap with Weber. In the last 5 km the Geiger-Riiber duel was re-proposed, with the Scandinavian champion perfect tactically and then once again superior to the opponent. Victory therefore for Norway, the third in a row, and place of honor for Germany. Behind them Japan and Austria have always competed as a couple and the fight for the third step of the podium was resolved only with the sprint between Akito Watabe and Johannes Lamparter, won by the Japanese veteran. Fifth place for the United States, sixth for France, seventh for Italy.
