Gruber and Watabe win the Summer GP a dead heat!

The Summer Grand Prix 2013 Nordic combined closed with the end of Oberstdorf, a race held on two sets of roller ski jump and 15 km.

Once again, the skimming done by the trampoline was extreme and the gaps starting in skiroll proved to be decisive. The "usual suspects" Bernhard Gruber, Akito Watabe and HÃ¥vard Klemetsen, to which was added Johannes Rydzek, they dug a deep furrow between them and their pursuers by booking in fact the struggle for the victory. Consider that the four parties are mentioned in'' span of 10 "with only Jan Schmid (35") fairly close. Eric Frenzel, sixth, was well 1'' 43 ". Schmid has not been able to engage the tread, then the command has formed a quartet that has lost a tenth kilometer component, or Klemetsen. The Norwegian has raised the white flag and sailed up to fourth at the finish. The three remaining were played on the success of the test and the Grand Prix. In view of the finish line Rydzek pulled off opponents, while Watabe was able to harpoon the second with the third Gruber. The result gave birth to a resounding and unprecedented situation in the final standings of the Summer Grand Prix. Gruber and Watabe have paired closed at 290 points with the same results in the four races (one win, a second, a third and a fourth place). Consequently, it was impossible to break parity, and for the first time in sixteen years of history, the Grand Prix was won ex aequo by two athletes. For the thirty-one of Salzburg is the second consecutive. In the past only compatriot Christoph Bieler (2005-2006) and the German Johannes Rydzek (2010-2011) was able to establish itself in the absolute rankings of the Summer GP for two years in a row. At the same time the twenty-five Hakuba becomes the first Japanese to establish itself in the absolute rankings of the Summer GP, historically the territory conquered by Austria (8 statements) and Germany (6) with an occasional success to head to Finland and the United States. Returning to today's race, Alessandro Pittin - the'' single blue busy - said twelfth.
