In a few days the Nordic Combined World Cup will start: let's see what will be the main themes of the next competitive winter.

On the weekend between 28 November and 1 December next Ruka will inaugurate the 37th edition of the Nordic Combined World Cup. For the ninth time in the history of the discipline - usually every 4 years - there will be no major events during the season, so all top athletes will be focused on the race for the crystal ball.
At the starting line in Finnish, a single man monopolizes the forecasts: Jarl Magnus Riiber. After a triumphant year, the Norwegian born in 1997 appears to be practically unbeatable above all in the long run, except for illnesses and setbacks which, while talking about the character in question, are anything but negligible. The talented twenty-two of Oslo will therefore aim to conquer the tenth crystal ball for Norway, a milestone that would make the Scandinavian superpower the first to reach double figures.
Waiting to see if Riiber will succeed in its intent, let's go and see what is the context in which the champion norge will be challenged: we will start from a spatio-temporal framework analyzing the seasonal calendar, to arrive at what we can expect from the Italian team, passing through the favorites, outsiders, suggestions and possible surprises of a winter that promises to be fought.

During the FIS autumn congress held at the beginning of October in Zurich, the final version of the seasonal calendar for the maximum Nordic combined circuit was confirmed.
