Fifth position for Jan Schmid, who by virtue of the many absences gets the best result of the season, as well as Manuel Faißt 6th and 7th Tim Hug. In eighth place came Yoshito Watabe, today the best of brothers, preceding the last component of the septet Franz-Josef Rehrl 9th.
The most quoted of Watabe brothers, Akito, closed the top 10 ahead of team-mate Hideaki Nagai. The two Japanese have tried When returning on athletes before, decreasing the gap in the first laps, but failed to close completely in the past.
