The Nordic combined in Val di Fiemme doubles: from 7 to 9 January 2022 the two World Cup circuits

In addition to the classic male date, here is the debut of the girls with the hosts Annika Sieff and Veronica Gianmoena who already dream.

Only the official status was missing and now it has arrived, with the conclusion of the spring congress of the FIS. Val di Fiemme, from 7 to 9 January 2022, will host not only the men's Nordic combined World Cup stage, but also the women's one for a historic premiere. A big news for the Fiemme Ski World Cup Committee, which comes following the announcement of the calendars for the next season; four Fiemme races for the discipline, with the world premiere of the Mixed Team, plus two men's and one women's races that will take place between Predazzo and Lago di Tesero. It will be a fiery weekend for the HS104 ski jump and for the Cross Country Center of Lago di Tesero, where the Mixed Team HS104 will take place on Friday, the Individual Gundersen HS104 / 10km male and the Mass Start HS104 / 5km female on Saturday, with the closing dedicated to the other Individual Gundersen HS104 / 10km men on Sunday 9 January. It will be a great party that will be attended in the land of Fiemme, which for many years has welcomed male combinatorics and which will now also kick off the new female era. The girls, who made their debut in the World Cup only last season, due to Covid were able to play only one stage in Ramsau where the American Tara Geraghty-Moats prevailed in front of the world champion, the Norwegian Gyda Westvold Hansen, and to the Japanese Anju Nakamura. There will be, for the great event at the beginning of January, the home athletes, or the Fiemme Annika Sieff and Veronica Gianmoena who, together with the two South Tyrolean Daniela Dejori and Lena Prinoth and the other two athletes Greta Pinzani (team C) and Giada Delugan ( national interest team) will go to form the blue team of the World Cup in search of a good result on the trampoline and on friendly snow. In short, there will really be something for all tastes and fun will be guaranteed with the Val di Fiemme covering, once again, the leading role of international winter sports.
