Over the weekend the World Cup Nordic Combined, after the events of Kuusamo and Lillehammer, get over the Alps in Ramsau am Dachstein happening a team sprint and a gundersen.

The town of Styria, located about 220 km south-west of the capital Vienna, has made its entry in the calendar of the maximum circuit in 1998 and after having attended hiccups for several years it has become a permanent fixture from 2005 onwards.
So far in Ramsau am Dachstein were played 21 individual competitions counting towards the crystal ball in addition to the 2 World Cup 1999, a total of 23 races of the first level.
There are 13 athletes to have at least one success in representing 6 different countries. The nordic combined most successful of all is Björn Kircheisen, able to impose itself 4 times. The German won in Ramsau quarter of the successes won in his career.
Followed at an altitude of 3 statements Bjarte Engen Vik Norwegians (including the two world championship gold medals in 1999) and Magnus Moan to which is added the Frenchman Jason Lamy-Chappuis.
Among active athletes have excelled even the Austrian Christoph Bieler and Mario Stecher, Norwegians Jan Schmid and Mikko Kokslien as well as the American Bill Demong.
The rank by country is so dominated by Norway with 10 victories, however, obtained with 6 different men. They are then Austria and Germany (4), France (3), the United States and Finland (1). You notice so as Kircheisen and Lamy-Chappuis are the only representatives of their countries to have excelled in Ramsau.
Under the heading podiums instead Jason Lamy-Chappuis in charge. The Frenchman is credited with 8 placings in the top-three with Kircheisen, Moan and Stecher stuck at 6.
Among the countries stands at a height of 19 Norway always followed by Germany (16) and from Austria'' (12). Further behind France (9), Finland (6), United States and Switzerland (2), Italy, Japan and Russia (1).
The blue podium is dated December 19, 2009 and bears the signature of Alexander Pittin reach, third behind Lamy-Chappuis and Tino Edelmann.
