Over the weekend the World Cup Nordic Combined will be staged in Lillehammer that only recently has found resting place in the calendar of the maximum circuit.

The resort'' s Oppland, located about 150 km north of the capital Oslo, in fourteen consecutive seasons at the Olympic Winter Games of 1994 hosted the World Cup only four times (1998, 2000, 2005 and 2006). However, it became constant presence from 2009 onwards.
