The girls of the Nordic combined can finally dream of their debut: away on 18 December in Ramsau

After postponements and cancellations, even the first edition of the Women's World Cup sees the light. And the blue will train in the Austrian resort starting from Friday.

After the cancellations of the Lillehammer and Otepaa stages, the official first date finally arrives for the Nordic Combined Women's World Cup, a historic date because the first of the maximum circuit for women. The FIS has in fact communicated that on Friday 18 December in Ramsau, a Gundersen with jump from the HS98 springboard and 5 km of cross-country skiing will be held. The calendar for next January will also be updated in the coming weeks. In the meantime, the blue technical director Federico Rigoni has summoned the usual quartet composed of Daniela Dejori, Annika Sieff, Veronica Gianmoena and Lena Prinoth for the meeting to be held in the Austrian venue, from Friday 4 to Wednesday 9 December with the technicians Ivo Pertile, Francesco Benetti and Veroncia Broll. The FIS itself has also extended the women's jumping calendar, which had been orphaned by Lillehammer, Sapporo, Zao, Hinterzarten, with the race also scheduled in Ramsau on 18 December. The Italian World Cup team will train with Manuela Malsiner, Lara Malsiner, Jessica Malsiner and Martina Ambrosi in Seefeld, under the eyes of the head coach Andreas Felder.
