Paolo Bernardi, head coach of the Italian men's team Nordic combined, decided what will be the athletes taking part in the World Championships in Lahti (February 23 to March 5).

No surprise, since they have been chosen those who have shown greater competitiveness in the international arena.

Buzzi aside, whose season has been heavily affected by serious back problems that have adversely affected the physical condition, the rest of the team will try to limit the damage on the trampoline and then unleash their horses cross-country skiing.
The young man from Friuli, in the light of Maladies, will be brought in a reserve role. For various Alessandro Pittin, Armin Bauer and Lukas Runggaldier the 'most important event will instead try jumping on Normal Hill, where in favorable circumstances can aspire to a prestigious placement.
It remains to understand what could be the performance in the team trials, in particular in that in pairs, where Costa and Pittin were on the podium in Val di Fiemme, albeit in a context with different weight absences.
