In Portorose la Fis has drawn up the 2017-18 calendar of the Nordic Combined World Cup. Among the changes compared to the April draft is the addition of a stage to Klingenthal in mid-March. As a result, the agonistic season extends for a week and ends on March 24-25 in Schonach.

For the rest, small changes in Ramsau format (removed from the sprint team in favor of an individual race) and Chaux Neuve (vice versa, a team test will replace a "gundersen").
Then confirmed the unprecedented novelty to start the winter with a multi-stage test, whose appearance however is all to be defined. It is not yet specified whether it is a clone of Seele's Triple, or whether it will have different rules. Among the novelties that have been ratified, Otepää's absolute debut and Hakuba's return after 15 years.
Altogether, there are 22 individual competitions (absolute equal record), to which 3 sprint teams and 3 Olympic team trials are added. Obviously in the rehearsals for the Crystal Ball are not contemplated those in Five Circles (2 individual + team), which lead to 31 top-level appointments.
The Italian stage is scheduled from 12 to 14 January in Val di Fiemme.

The calendar of the Summer Grand Prix 2017 has also been modified, anticipating the final stage for two weeks. It should be noted that in the Nordic Combined the summer circuit is extemporaneous and makes history itself, as its competitions are not valid for the World Ranking List.
