No Nordic Combined Summer Grand Prix: Germany also renounces after Austria

The German federation has announced the cancellation of any event (including the jump) until the autumn period. And so, the summer circuit will not be staged.

It is now official, the Summer Grand Prix 2020 as regards the Nordic combined, will not be staged. If the Austrian stages had already been canceled previously, due to the OESV's decision to cancel any international event until 4 October (in practice, the aim is to start again with the grand opening of Alpine skiing in Soelden), Germany has also announced the renunciation of hosting the events of the winter disciplines until the autumn period. No Oberstdorf then, next 26-27 September, but there will also be no jumping competition in Klingenthal, 2-3 October; as regards the latter discipline, the other stages remain with the confirmed Wisla opening. "The priorities are the health and safety of the athletes and spectators and to guarantee them we need more time to respect the protocols - said about cancellations Franz Steinle, number 1 of the DSV - We have decided to cancel our Summer Grand Prix with enormous regret, we are now thinking about the challenges to face in the coming winter ".
