From the autumn congress of Fis in Zurich, important news emerged that will cover the next season of the Nordic Cup Men's World Cup.

The committee has decided to reward and enhance the best athletes that stand out in the individual races of the race. Two distinct charts will be made, one for the jump and one for the ski party and their respective leaders will wear a special petticoat, blue the best jumper and red the best mulcher. The final winners will also receive a prize of 7,000 CHF each. This new system has already been successfully tested in the Summer Grand Prix and will then be reopened in WC.
The 2017-18 World Cup calendar has also been confirmed, which will kick off on November 24 with the "Ruka Tour".
