A historic podium for Italy, in the second ever race of the Nordic Combined Women's World Cup, born only in the tormented 2020/21 season.
Annika Sieff gives the Italian team a splendid 3rd place in the Lillehammer opening, preceded only by the hosts and great favorites Mari Leinan Lund and Gyda Westvold Hansen, who grabs the compatriot in the final of the 5 km cross-country by beating her clearly (she had to recover 39 seconds after the jump in the morning), as a great favorite, while the 2003 class from Fiemme, second on the trampoline.
