The last time to send their registration form to the game managers is scheduled for 21:00 of Wednesday, November 23, the day before qualifying in the competition that will open the Jumping World Cup ski.
Recommend the utmost punctuality, we would never refuse some Fantamanager that sends delayed their enrollment.
GEOGRAPHY: The Lombardy and Milan in particular dominated indisputably
For now you are enrolled Fantamanager from 14 different regions, the call still missing Basilicata, Valle d'Aosta, Marche, Abruzzo and the two islands of Sicily and Sardinia. Lombardy dominates, with more than double the participants than the runners-Piedmont, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Veneto.
In the provinces of Milano stands out among all, followed at a great distance from Udine. There are not yet received registrations from abroad.
DEMOGRAPHICS: Wave of youth
The average age is around 35 years, so a sharp drop compared to the last exit-pool. They were recorded 5 school-age junior and 10 men in the master age. They were received, also, two inscriptions from the world of women. Easy, it is formed the classic differences between Fantamanager.
CHOICES: The Italians are going out of fashion
Let's see what were the choices made so far by Fantamanager. They were chosen from 207 different athletes among the three sectors (70 jumpers, 70 jumpers and 67 Combiners).
TOP 5 - JUMPERS
1. Kamil STOCH (POL) present in 64.1% of team2. KOT Maciej (POL) present in 61.5% of team3. SCHLIERENZAUER Gregor (AUT) present in 46.2% of team4. PREVC Domen (SLO) present in 38.5% of team4. KRAFT Stefan (AUT) present in 38.5% of the team
The novelty in the top 5 is the presence of Stefan Kraft, which in recent days has increased strongly dates from managers preferences. Head Gregor Schlierenzauer has lost a few points, while Maciej Kot undermines the leadership of Kamil Stoch.
TOP 5 - leaping
1. Malsiner Manuela (ITA) present in 59.0% of team2. Sara Takanashi (JPN) present in 48.7% of team3. Coline Mattel (FRA) present in 46.2% of team4. RUNGGALDIER Elena (ITA) present in 41.0% of team5. INSAM Evelyn (ITA) present in 35.9% of the team
In general, we see a decline in preferences of each athlete, which means that there has been a leveling. The athletes who have increased their percentage are not still managed to make inroads in the top 5. In head remains Manuela Malsiner, for the final victory,
TOP 5 - Combiners
1. Pittin Alessandro (ITA) present in 94.9% of team2. RIIBER Jarl Magnus (NOR) present in 69.2% of team3. RYDZEK Johannes (GER) present in 38.5% of team4. COSTA Samuel (ITA) present in 35.9% of team5. Joshito Watabe (JPN) present in 30.8% of team5. HEROLA Ilkka (FIN) present in 30.8% of team5. KOKSLIEN Mikko (NOR) present in 30.8% of the team
It can comfortably say that Alessandro Pittin write the story of Fantanordic. Two days after the term is in the lead with nearly 95% of the vote. Even Jarl Magnus Riiber saw increase its percentage, placing him comfortably in second place. The novelty is Johannes Rydzek, issatosi strongly in third position.
As regards the nations, are represented 15. The 'Italy (14.2%) is passing fashion between the Fantamanager, in favor of the various superpowers which: Germany (13.5%), Norway (13, 2%), Austria (12.0%), Slovenia (9.7%) and Japan (9.5%).
INSIGHT: The "new" trampolines
The third and final season deepening concerns "new" springboards that will be a stage for top-level competitions, valid also for the Fantanordic, ie all those plants which have been refurbished in the summer or with work in progress.
The first place that operated the changes was Ruka, of the opening scene of the men's World Cup Jumping and Nordic Combined. Actually there have been only minor changes, not on plant size, but the In-run: the need was to avoid bad impression related to the disintegration of the snow channels (like last year), then you It has opted to install a cooling system.
In the stage of pre-Christmas Engelberg happening unusual competitions, which will jump on the HS142 ski jump. Until last year in fact, the profile was set at 137 meters. Changes have been made mainly on the in-run position, set back a few meters, and the height thereof. Also a led lighting system to allow the carrying out of night races has been installed.
Trasferiamoci in Poland, namely in Zakopane. The goal for the plant, called Wielka Krokiev, is to turn it into one of the large hill most impressive of the circuit (for instance want to reach the size of Willingen). These two locations are likely, however, to be outclassed by an American. The last FIS Congress, last October, has given the green light to the restructuring of Copper Peak, making it hypothetically a hybrid between a large trampoline and a flight. So the location of Michigan would not rival for the title of biggest large hill in the world.
We conclude with the Skiflungschanze Oberstdorf. This is one of five trampolines flight in the world, in addition to those of Vikersund, Planica, Tauplitz / Bad Mitterndorf and Harrachov. The restructuring involves the matching of the size of the Austrian plants, Norway and Slovenia (all HS 225). Work is still underway, but the latest news appear well advanced. Recall that in 2018, in the resort Allgäu, you will be held the World Cup ski flying.
TIPS: Central Europe
Last episode for the section on tips. This time we will cover all European countries to the south of the Scandinavian peninsula and west of the former Soviet republics. It 'clear that in these countries there would have to write entire books. Then we'll just make some quick flashes on every important issue.
Let's start from the far west with France. At the level of male jumping the names are two: Vincent Descombes Sevoie and Ronan Lamy Chappuis. The second is the one that has more margin of the two, than last season. But beware that the athlete Chamonix has used to big companies there. As for the women's jump, the team of athletes born before the 2000s seems to be declining, except for Julia Clair. The jumpers of the new millennium, however, are on the launching pad to restore the luster to the Alps a few years ago. Francois Braud and Maxime Laheurte are the Nordic Combined team leader, where he is being a bully generational change. It expects good things also by many young people already mostratisi to the public last year.
Let's move to Switzerland. Here the names are not many: on all there is Simon Ammann, whose exploits have been widely told, so we stop just to name; two other jumpers are noteworthy, namely Gregor Deschwanden and Kilian Peier, called to continued success in the main circuit; passing to women, there is only a vaguely competitive, that Sabrina Windmüller, but its best days already seem outdated for some time; Tim Hug is in turn the only level of combined athlete to cross the red team.
Chapter Italy: this will be the year of truth for many blue-bearer. The expectations are high, in fact, in the three disciplines covered by Fantanordic capoallenatori there are world-class: from Lukasz Kruczek Janko Zwitter, from Paul Bernardi. Alex Insam, Sebastian Colloredo and David Bresadola will alternate between the World Cup and Continental Cup, chasing results that now missing for some time for the beautiful country. Alessandro Pittin and Samuel Costa are the leaders of the Nordic combined, expect good results from Armin Bauer and Lukas Runggaldier and, why not, for some young athlete. The female jumping is the field in which you can get, probably, the best results with the veteran Elena Runggaldier and Lara and Manuela Malsiner sisters. More trouble seems Evelyn Insam, too long away from the old standards to which he had accustomed us well.
Home Teutonic there are many candidates to participate in top-level competitions and all with good reason. In the men's jump Severin Freund will go hunting his second crystal ball, Richard Freitag and Andreas Wellinger are serious candidates for world medals on small trampoline in Lahti. In the Nordic combined are well into three candidates to the final victory of the World Cup, or Eric Frenzel, Johannes Rydzek and Fabian Riessle. In women's jump it is likely will point to the medals up for grabs at the end of March, with the expert to that effect Carina Vogt. It also expects the final consecration of Katharina Althaus. Be careful though to all the bold young.
Stefan Kraft, Michael Hayböck and Daniela Iraschko-Stolz are the Austrian candidates to the noble areas of special jump. Further back appear Combiners, mind it, that might be the real surprises vintage that is about to begin. The risk is to run into good athletes, but that the maximum they see the circuit just due to strong domestic competition. Same goes for Germany.
Poland is betting everything on the men of the jump: Stefan Horngacher able to bring the Poles at the top of the world? Summer conditions are excellent, with athletes who have adapted better to the new systems, see Maciej Kot and Kamil Stoch. Others need further confirmation, such as Piotr Żyła. In the women's jumping and Nordic Combined, however, the aim is to make mid-level results to get to dominate, tomorrow, as a power to beat.
Backwardness in the women's jump is a feature also of the Czech movement, while Tomas Portyk and Miroslav Dvorak Combiners are good that Poland does not have. The team more competitive in the complex is the one led by Roman Koudelka, with excellent prospects among young people trained by Richard Shallert.
Slovenia is another superpower special jump, however, extremely hard to propose Combiners high level. In fact it is several seasons that the only competitive is Marjan Jelenko. The Prevc brothers will seek confirmations of the good performance of the past year and another to watch is Jurij Tepes, on which Goran Janus has worked hard in the summer. Among women there are always the usual Maja Vtic, Spela Rogelj, Eva Logar, Katja Pozun and Ursa Bogataj, but interesting are the athletes of the next generation.
As for the small national or Netherlands, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary, we have to report a couple of athletes: the jumper Vladimir Zografski and jumper Daniela Haralambie.
