In the unprecedented scenario of the Sandnes arena, and not in the traditional central streets as in previous years, the Blink Festival yesterday saw the success of the favorites in the Sprint test.

With an unprecedented format of head-to-head challenges, the very champion Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo immediately enforced the law of the strongest despite the extra effort of traveling by car to reach Sandnes to avoid the risk of contagion of a trip by plane.
Exempted from the round of 16, Klaebo easily got the better of the junior world champion, Ansgar Evensen, in the quarter-finals to repeat himself in the semifinals against Sindre Skar and prevail in the final act against Gjoran Tefre. The third place final saw Erik Valnes win.
The evening of Maiken Caspersen Falla was certainly more demanding, preceding rising star Helena Marie Fossesholm by only one tenth in the quarter-finals and at the photo-finish the twenty-one-year-old world champion in Sprint Kristin Skistad. In the final Falla overcomes the surprise of the day, Mathilde Myrhvold.
