Fund: Johannes Klaebo this year will prepare with the Norwegian distance group

Dominant of the last three World Cups in the Sprint format, the 22-year-old Norwegian will lead the preparation with the distance team according to TV2 this summer.

While Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo is still on vacation on the island of Tromsoe, the TV2 broadcaster has today spread the news that the winner of the last two World Cup Cross-Country Skiing will focus more in the summer months on the distance trials joining the group that between his ranks can count cross-country skiers such as Sundby, Iversen, Roethe and Toenseth. The Norwegian champion should join the group as early as next May, even though, for the moment, the Norwegian Federation has not confirmed the rumor and TV2 has not been able to reach the person concerned. The only comment comes from team-mate Emil Iversen who said: "I think the time has come for him to change groups. Moving on to the distance group he can gain 10-15 seconds in a 15 kilometers", those seconds that would allow him most likely to respond to the battles of the Russian Alexander Bolshunov who dueled with the Norwegian until the last stage for the conquest of the crystal ball precisely because of his superiority in the distance trials.
