Eight days between Sweden and Norway with six stages in February 2020, a year equal to half the four-year period and, therefore, without the Olympics and World Championships. The Scandinavian Ski Tour was presented last Friday at the FIS Congress in Zurich.

Inserted on the calendar from 15 to 23 February 2020, five weeks after the end of the Tour de Ski, the Ski Tour includes six stages starting from Ostersund and ending in Trondheim and distances from the reduced stage locations compared to the beginning of the year, with transfers made only by train.
The rules should present a limit to the number of skis that athletes can use and an ecological footprint through the reduction of snowmobiles on the routes. If the iconic event of the Tour de Ski remains the final climb of the Cermis, the Ski Tour will propose a stage of 37 km for both men and for girls.
The program presented in Zurich, together with the video attached to this article, provides:
1st stage: Ostersund - 10 km F and 15 km M mass start in free technique
2nd stage: Ostersund - 10 km F and 15 km M interval start in classical technique
3rd stage: Aare - Sprint Tecnica Libera
4th stage: Storlien - Meraaker, 37 km free technique in line
5th stage: Trondheim - Sprint Tecnica Classica
6th stage: Trondheim - Free technical pursuit
