The Tour de Ski is not in the plans of Charlotte Kalla and Stina Nilsson

The two Swedish champions, Olympic Silver in pairs in the Team Sprint of PyeongChang confirm the plans of last year.

After a season in which he won the Gold medal in Skiathlon and three Silver medals (10 km, relay and sprint team), Charlotte Kalla confirms what was already anticipated in May; also this season, as in the past, it will not take part in the Tour de Ski that will start in Dobbiaco on December 29th to end with the traditional ascent of Cermis on January 6th. The thirty-one-year-old runner from Tärendö has announced to the Swedish TV network SVT Sport that she prefers a training period ahead of the World Championships in Seefeld. The same choice was made by Stina Nilsson who in 2017 after closing the Tour de Ski in third place disputed a disappointing World Championship in Lahti where he climbed on the podium only with the Staffetta, silver medal. "Two years ago I lost the thrust and shape after the Tour and at the World Cup I found myself emptied," said the 25-year Olympic champion in the Sprint, "Last season I decided to give it up and I felt better at the Olympics" won the 'Gold in the Sprint, the Bronze in the 30 km and the two silver team].
