In the women's test the red and white girls, led by Lisa Eder, beat the competition, winning five out of eight spins and trimming more than 50 points behind the first of the competitors. Silver medal for Russia, dragged by Anna Shpyneva, who preceded Jerneja Brecl's Slovenia by about ten points. Italy was eighth with Martina Zanitzer, Martina Ambrosi, Annika Sieff and Jessica Malsiner.
Same script in the men's competition, where the gold medal has never been in question and perhaps even more clear dominance. The Austrian quartet, favorite on the eve, won seven of the eight jumps disputed and won the world title with an abysmal margin: over 70 points trimmed to Slovenia second. The podium was completed by Russia while Italy with Daniel Moroder, Mattia Galiani, Cecon Francesco and Giovanni Bresadola finished 7th.
Italy who won the medal in the Mixed Nordic Combined Team, where Jacopo Bortolas, Annika Sieff, Domenico Mariotti and Daniela Dejori finished third behind Norway (gold) and Austria (silver), preceding Germany in the final.
