Skiroll, great final of the Italian Cup in Pescocostanzo with the domination of Masiero and Ghiddi

The Abruzzo mass starts reward the young man from Valdobbianese and the Modenese, already world champion and winner of the junior CdM.

An irrepressible Riccardo Masiero has conquered the first test of the last stage of the Italian Cup Cascina Bianca as regards the season finale of the blue skiroll. The rider from Valdobbiadene dominated the mass start in classic uphill technique staged in Pescocostanzo (L''Aquila), leaving his opponents almost a minute away; Masiero crossed the finish line at Bosco di Sant''Antonio with a time of 34''56 "8, ahead of Matteo Tanel (Robinson Ski Team; 35''50") and Andrea Acqui (Winter sc Subiaco; 35 '' 53 ”5), first in the Youth category. In the fight for the absolute first female position it was Anna Maria Ghiddi, the phenomenal Modena woman already able this year to conquer the world category gold and the absolute crystal ball among the jr, preceding on the wool thread Paola Beri in an authentic generational clash, given that the tip of the Nordik Ski Valsassina team has conquered the ranking dedicated to the Masters. The very young winner of the Olimpic Lama finished in 26''45 ”, a couple of seconds ahead of Beri, while Camilla Crippa of Polisportiva Team Brianza finished third, but almost two minutes behind. Ghiddi and Crippa thus also win the first two positions Young and Aspiring, with third Maria Angelaccio (Capracotta Asd; 31''01 "8), while in the male Andrea Acqui preceded Carlo Cantal (Marzola; 36''16" 4) and Diego Panari (Olimpic Lama; 41''02 ”1). Among the M3 Masters, the victory went to Roberto Capanni (Nordic Ski Bismantova; 40''15 "7), while Guido Masiero (Valdobbiadene; 41''19" 2) triumphed among the Masters C. Stefano Epis (Ubi Banca Goggi) dominated the Allievi race with a time of 24''13 "9, preceding Tommaso Tozzi (Winter sc Subiaco; 25''37" 8) and Daniele Cera (Barrea; 26''25 "). In the feminine, Maria Invernizzi (Nordik Ski Valsassina; 31''14 ") won once again, ahead of Claudia Di Tanna (Capracotta asd; 32''07" 7) and Alessia Basile (Alfedena; 32''08 " 1). Among the boys, victory by Maneul Serone (Sci Opi; 22''39 "3), followed by Simone Di Florio (Sc 3000 Ski Race; 23''03" 7) and Ennio Del Sangro (Us Pescocostanzo; 23''44 "2). In the women, the fastest was Aurora Invernizzi (Nordik Ski Valsassina; 20''05 "7), ahead of Nicole Falanelli (Olimpic Lama; 21''26" 4) and Silvia Di Tanna (Capracotta asd; 21''59 "5). Among the Cuccioli, it was Marco Combi (Primaluna; 11''51 "2) who climbed the top step of the podium, preceding Davide Gasbarro (Us Pescocostanzo; 12''53" 1) and Matteo Di Fusco (Sciatori Subiaco; 14 ' '54 "4), while Sara Proietti Cignitti (Winter sc Subiaco; 13''18") dominated the feminine, ahead of Aurora Capobianchi (Barrea; 15''03 "7) and Gaia Panzini (Winter sc Subiaco; 15 ''19 "8). Finally, among the Baby, another victory came for Mattia Combi (Primaluna; 2''43 "7), followed by Giacomo Miaci (Winter sc Subiaco; 3''04" 8) and Salvatore Silvestri (SC Alfedena; 3 ' '53 "1). Sara Di Fusco won the women's race (Winter sc Subiaco; 3''32 "9), ahead of her ski club mate Greta Panzini (4''47" 5) and Alejandra Neyra Castillo (Barrea; 8''49 "9 ).

Dopo aver annunciato lo scorso marzo il ritiro dall'attività, fresco del leggendario bis olimpico, il 40enne fuoriclasse austriaco aveva avviato un progetto legato alla bicicletta, sua enorme passione, con l'obiettivo dei Giochi del 2030 nel ciclocross (che non è stato inserito nel programma per la rassegna sulle Alpi francesi). Sono cambiate alcune cose e ho capito di essere semplicemente uno snowboarder che si diverte tantissimo sui pedali. Punterà soprattutto ai campionati del mondo di Montafon che a marzo chiuderanno la stagione.
