The Tour de Ski has started with the Free Technique Sprint in Dobbiaco.

On the debut in the Tour de Ski, the Norwegian Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo wins on the circuit in the arena of Dobbiaco ahead of the two French Richard Jouve and Lucas Chanavat. Federico Pellegrino, first of the excluded from the final, is seventh.
In the women's field, the Swedish Stina Nilsson is imposed by dispersion leaving the opponents to contend only the squares of 'honor: second in a group photo finish, 3 seconds from the winner, the compatriot Ida Ingemarsdotter that precedes the US Jessica Diggins.
