Fis decided to anticipate the entry of the women's team test in the Nordic skiing world program. So in Seefeld there will be six titles to be awarded in the jump.

Initially, the competition should have made its debut in the World Championships in Oberstdorf 2021, but after solving some logistical problems, the organizing committee of Seefeld 2019 has proposed to Fis to include it in the program. The Team Event will be staged on Tuesday, February 26th in place of the qualification for the individual race, which slides to the next day.
The women's team test has entered the World Cup in the 2017/18 season. Last January 19th, on the Normal Hill of Zao (Jpn), Germany took the first seasonal Team Event, ahead of Austria and Japan.
