The thirty-eighth edition of the World Cup ski jump started in the best way with a high-level competition in Ruka, to still be in late November. The biggest let down of the day was Daniel Andre Tande, big favorite on the eve, very unlucky with the conditions in which it was found to jump in the first set, but unable to react in the decisive one. It closed finally fourteenth.
