At that Klingenthal it just ended the only individual event in the program with the men's ski jumping. The most striking fact of this competition, and of past Ruka, is that the international circuit is looking for a new ruler: will perhaps be today's winner Domen Prevc?

Probably we will have the first credible response only after the Four Hills Tournament, for now we can just enjoy the show that comes out. The smallest of the brothers Prevc proves animal trampolines extremes, which among other things are all the rage (see the recent renovations of Engelberg and Zakopane), so it might be the big news for the second consecutive year.
In the competition this afternoon, Domen has staked increased technical stability with respect to the event team of 24 hours ago, by printing in both series a no shorter stitch skipping HS. In the first he has recorded the best measure (140 m), but has not closed on command due to an obvious gleaned with the left ski, while in the second it is improved to a meter and administered the advantage of a arrembante Daniel Andre Tande.
Norway has followed a similar pattern to the second race competition Ruka, climbed from fifth place at the end of the first run, up to a second place that was pretty tight. This is done because it is the athlete most of the moment, and because he was the author of the best race performance, landing at 143 meters with telemark, and because he was beaten by just two tenths of a point.
With another good test Stefan Kraft closed the podium at 2.1 adrift of success. It was confirmed at the same position of the first segment of the race, thanks to the consistency of performance to which we have become accustomed in recent years.
The nation that yesterday wrote their own history, thanks to the first success in team events, today is the one that has to complain: Maciej Kot and Kamil Stoch closed to control the first set, as expected, but at the decisive moment not they were able to express themselves to the level of the above athletes. So they closed at the foot of the podium, with the athlete affiliated Eve-nement in fourth place just three tenths from the podium.
To Kot today's fifth place is his best result in the World Cup ever. The problem is that it is not the first time he gets, but the fifth. Now seems a taboo even fourth place only. Today had a greedy occasion, thrown to the wind because of the skis too vertically in the first phase of flight, because of a rotation of the bust too slow after the take-off. Beware that if you unlock he is the man to beat this year.
In these first two weeks of racing the "bad luck" prize is awarded to Markus Eisenbichler surely, one of the three most of the moment, but never better than sixth in the race, also result today.
Three important confirmations in the top 10: Andreas Kofler, manuel fettner and Vincent Descombes Sevoie have closed, in order, the top ten positions. For all three of us to the third consecutive time they occupy the squares in this range of positions. Only two weeks ago it was made far-fetched, but this is the ski jumping.
Many jumpers showed a decline compared to a week ago, the yellow bib (now lost) Severin Freund finished 11th and even Peter Prevc got the worst result for two years now with 22 ^ final position. It seems that the fall in the first seasonal race has cracked some certainty, then see his little brother win that way, certainly does not help.
Other big circuit, however, continue to toil exceedingly, even changing context of the bid: Noriaki Kasai (26 °) has lost the one lift that was his main course in the last 4-5 years; Andreas Wellinger (27 °) has not yet shown on the pre-fall levels of two years ago.
Michael Hayboeck (31 °) does not have the technical stability of better days and occasionally some jump pit; Daiki Ito (33 °) was the emblem of the weekend of the Japanese: extremely complicated; Roman Koudelka (36th) continues his personal downward spiral that began last season; Finally Johann Andre Forfang (43 °) reflects in every way the beginning of the Norwegian season (and not just the jump!).
Special mention should be made of Vojtech Stursa, victim of a crash in the first set because a race is too inclined towards the show. Out of the landing area escorted by stretcher-bearers and with the collar, he appeared in pole starting even an hour later and gained two positions that allowed him to settle in the 28th place finish. Chapeau!
For Italy the only athlete in the race was Sebastian Colloredo, author of a discrete jump that did not allow him, however, to get into the points. next week, most likely, will be diverted to the Continental Cup with teammates. In the main circuit will return blue only in Tournee.
To recap, in general Domen Prevc ranking has climbed Severin Freund, with 220 points against the 204 of the German. Daniel Andre Tande is not far with 178. For the holder of the crystal ball, the situation begins to be critical, since it has already been voiced in terms of points from his brother.
Next week the World Cup will stop in Lillehammer, with a double individual event, theoretically on the large hill. It will begin Friday, December 9 with the first qualifying race on Saturday. At the same time also they begin the minor circuits, with the Continental Cup staged in Vikersund.
