Debut with a bang for Stefan Kraft: the Swiss beaten in the Summer Grand Prix stage in Courchevel

On the French springboard, the Austrian folds Deschwanden and an excellent Ammann. Lanisek at the foot of the podium as well as the Poles with Wolny fifth.

A great debut for one of the most anticipated protagonists in the winter season that will lead to the Beijing Olympic Games. Stefan Kraft starts his Summer Grand Prix in the best possible way, which started three weeks ago in Wisla, winning on the HS135 ski jump in Courchevel on a day that is anything but ... summer, given that in France rain and fog have accompanied a race (without Italians registered) that the Austrian champion has commanded since the first jump. 234.2 points were enough, with two jumps from 129 meters, to resist the Swiss couple formed by Gregor Deschwanden, at the end only 1.8 points from the winner, and by a Simon Ammann author of a great first jump and at the end third at 231.1. At the foot of the podium, on the other hand, we find Slovenia with Anze Lanisek, who however pays almost 12 points from Kraft, and Poland that places Wolny fifth in front of two other top ten Austrians, namely Schiffner and Hoerl. The Summer Grand Prix will be back again next weekend (14-15 August), but only with the girls competing, on the Czech Frenstat springboard where Ursa Bogataj will defend her leadership after winning all three races so far.
