Goran Janus, head coach of Slovenia, announced the squad for the first period of the World Cup, namely dall'opening Ruka up to the competitions in Engelberg. Already preventivava the presence Peter Prevc and Jurij Tepes, while others called the place were played in the last training camp in Kranj Dinners Prevc and Anze Semenic. No choice was obvious because in the summer signal data from the athletes were quite complicated to decipher. Domen Prevc took part only in the Continental Cup competitions, while his brother Dinners made no international appearances but only at the national championships (2nd behind the more Peter's brother). On the other hand Dezman, Hvala, Lanisek and Semenic during the Summer Grand Prix had alternated negative performance with other income.
Worth noting is the absence of Robert Kranjec and Jernej Damjan, both operated by slightly at the knees.
