This afternoon in Innsbruck the third act of the 2019/20 springboard tour opened. Marius Lindvik, back from Garmisch's victory, has reconfirmed himself at the highest levels, winning the qualification for tomorrow's race.

Today's trial was strongly conditioned by the wind, which blew alternately in front of or behind the athletes, making the trampoline more or less competitive. The young Norwegian, who two days ago in Garmisch-Partenkirchen won his first career victory in the World Cup, expressed himself again at best, making a jump over the HS point (131.5 m) with a slight unfavorable wind.
This performance allowed him to trim 2.1 to Stefan Kraft, who landed at 132.5, but penalized by compensation, and 4 points to the Geiger-Aschenwald pair, third ex aequo. The German preceded his rivals by a few tenths for the conquest of the golden eagle, Ryoyu Kobayashi, 5th to 9 tenths and Dawid Kubacki, 6th at one point.
Tomorrow at 14:00 the first series will start, where there will not be the two Azzurri Federico Cecon and Alex Insam who today have not managed to overcome the obstacle of qualification.
