The 27-year-old German confirmed his excellent state of play by winning Race 1 at Rasnov (Rou), for him this is the second career victory in the cadet circuit.

A first 99.5 m jump brought Paschke to the lead of the first series. At his distant backs of 6 lengths, Norwegian Joachim Hauer and Slovenian Timi Zajc, separated by only a tenth of them.
In the second series, the match for the podium was resolved among these three athletes. The two trackers tried to get the best partial scores but Paschke responded with a 94m jump, keeping 2.2 points on Timi Zajc. Third the redoubled Joachim Hauer who seems to see the light again after a dark season.
Out of the podium, the Austrian Daniel Huber, 4th. Behind him German Dominik Maylaender, winner yesterday in FIS Cup. 6th Tilen Bartol. Instead, he closed 8th, the leader of the CoC ranking, Polish Klemens Muranka.
Tomorrow at 9.00 will go to Race 2.
