Ski jumping: two stages of the Tour of the four ski jumps will be behind closed doors

The most anticipated event of the World Cup season - ski jumping is already being talked about and the news is not good. Like last year, the two German stages will in fact take place without spectators.

On 29 December in Oberstdorf and on 1 January in Garmisch-Partenkichen the first two races of the Tour of the four hills will therefore be behind closed doors. This was announced by the president of the organizing committee of the Oberstdorf opening Florian Stern: "The new order of the Bavarian government leaves us no room for maneuver. It is a pity, because we had specially developed a protection system. " A real shame because without an audience the Tour loses that magical touch that makes it unique in the panorama of winter disciplines. Everything is silent at the moment on the Austrian front, where however the pandemic continues to be very present, so much so as to force the government of Vienna to impose a lockdown. The hope is to see fans at least in the temples of Innsbruck and Bischofshofen.
