On Thursday afternoon July 10 Thomas Morgenstern back to jump for the first time in Sochi. The twenty-seven Carinthian flew from Villach to the presence of K90'' s head coach of the Austrian team Heinz Kuttin.

"I was very nervous before getting on the trampoline, but then things started to go better when I saw that the jump system has worked pretty well. I made another step towards the continuation of my career, and much more coming soon! " said the two-time winner of the World Cup and Olympic champion in Turin in 2006.
Heinz Kuttin explained: "'' The initial goal was to jump safely. Already at the third jump Thomas began to feel the usual feelings and fifth jump was technically correct."
Morgenstern, a victim of two fall over during the winter'' (the second of which caused a small cerebral hemorrhage and pulmonary contusion), said in late June that the decision regarding whether or not to continue his racing career will be taken within three months after the first jump.
So probably we can wait a choice in the matter by the end of October (and therefore the twenty-eighth birthday of Austrian'').
