Tour of the four hills: Kubacki takes the qualification from Garmisch, Bresadola is out

In view of the race on Sunday 1 January (2.00 pm), the Pole sends a signal to Granerud, sixth, while in Italy only Insam and Cecon qualify, with the Trentino driver just 59th.

A decidedly tight qualification, with Dawid Kubacki in front and the Slovenians Anze Lanisek, the great disappointment of the first round in Oberstdorf, and Timi Zajc, respectively second and third just behind the Pole, author of a great jump from 140.5 meters. This is the verdict of the first act of episode number 2 for the Four Hills Tournament, which stops in Garmisch-Partenkirchen where, on Sunday starting at 14.00, there will be the second race of this 71st edition clearly commanded by Halvor Egner Granerud . The Norwegian finished sixth today, also behind Piotr Zyla, second in Oberstdorf, and Manuel Fettner, ahead of the third of the Poles, Kamil Stoch (seventh). Francesco Cecon will face the multiple Olympic champion, 44th in the qualifying match in Garmisch and second blue to hit the pass for the race, after Alex Insam who finished 41st and will meet, in tomorrow's direct match, the German Constantin Schmid (tenth ). Very bitter today for Giovanni Bresadola, 59th and therefore cut out of contention. We will see the Trentino directly in Innsbruck from 3 January.
