The Pyeongchang Olympic champion will follow his favorite team on the North American summer tour.

"As you know I'm a great football fan, so I'm happy to tell you that I will have the great opportunity to participate in the Audi FCB Tour in the United States, the highlight of my summer" wrote the Bavarian on Facebook. The trip will start on July 23rd and will end on the 30th, the 25th in Philadelphia is scheduled for the match against Juventus, while on the 28th Bayern will play against Manchester City in Miami. Wellinger will then miss the second stage of the Summer Grand Prix 2018, which will be held in Hinterzarten on 27 and 28 July. The German should return to compete the following weekend in Einsiedeln (Svi).
