This was announced by the organizing committee: due to the positivity of Klemens Murnaka, the whole Polish team will not be at the start of the first stage of the prestigious competition.

A sensational news arrives a few hours after the start of the first race of the Tourneè dei 4 Trampolini: the Polish team has been excluded from the Oberstdorf stage, which will be staged between today and tomorrow, due to the positive buffer of a team member.
The athlete who tested positive at Covid-19 is Klemens Muranka and, at the moment, no other Polish jumper or staff member seems to have been infected but the decision of the organizing committee came in the morning: "The other pack athletes had anyway contacts with the positive subject, allowing them to participate in this first stage would be an enormous risk. A decision to be taken reluctantly but necessary "- explains the general secretary of the organization Florian Stern.
The competition therefore immediately loses three protagonists, who were part of the lot of favorites on the eve: Kamil Stoch, Piotr Zyla and Dawid Kubacki. The three Polish jumpers won't be competing tomorrow either, again in Oberstdorf; all still to be decided for the Garmisch Partenkirchen stage, scheduled between 31 December and 1 January.
