The youth event in Val di Sole saw the Ossana club, organizer of the first stage, monopolize the podiums in almost all eight races.

The Youth Jumping and Nordic Combined Italian Cup has begun in the name of the Monte Giner Sports Group. The Ossana association had the merit of organizing this competition on the Pellizzano trampolines and also took the luxury of winning the ranking by society, monopolizing the podium in almost all eight categories. About fifty young athletes challenged each other on the HS20 and HS38 trampolines, and in foot races on a ring built near the center of the jump and valid for the assignment of the Pellizzano Municipality Cup.
Starting from the most awaited challenge, namely the jump for the under 14 category, the first two steps of the podium were hit by athletes of Gs Monte Giner, with Daniel Dell''Eva winning with 201 points, in front of teammate Daniel Taraboi and to Manuel Boninsegna of the Dolomitica. In the subsequent running challenge along the 3000 meters foreseen by the race judges, the winner was Noè Broll from Val Gardena, who preceded Manuel Boninsegna della Dolomitica from Fiemme by 12 seconds. In the under 14 challenge reserved for ladies, the Friulian Ludovica Del Bianco scored a brace, winning both the jumping and the Nordic combined test, in both cases in front of the Fiemme from Cauriol, Maja Delugan.
Elisa Zambelli of Monte Giner then made herself the author of a splendid comeback in combined, finishing on the third step of the podium (fourth in the jump). The very young Daniel Dell''Eva also gave an encore in the challenge from the HS22 springboard in the race reserved for the very young category, being an under 12 player. In the jump he preceded his teammate Daniel Taraboi by more than 10 points, third the other standard bearer of Monte Giner Nicolas Pedergnana, with Giovanni Zambelli fourth. And in the afternoon Dell''Eva himself also obtained a bronze at the end of the 1500 meters of the cross track, in the race won by the Friulian Samuele Beltrame in front of the spirited Nicholas Pedergnana. Fourth Daniel Taraboi, fifth Giovani Zambelli, sixth Matteo Delugan.
Space also for the promotional category with the races for the under 10 categories from the HS20 springboard. The result was a double podium branded Gs Monte Giner. In the jump victory of David Mahato over Giacomo Rosatti and Katrin Marini, then in combined it was Giacomo Rosatti to triumph over David Mahato and Filippo Bruni. At the end of the awards ceremony for all, in full compliance with the anti Covid-19 protocols, and in particular the assignment of the Pellizzano Municipality Cup, which remains on the notice board of the Gs Monte Giner since it won the ranking for companies with 1589 points, ahead of Monti Lussari with 699, Gardena with 542, Dolomitica with 442 and Cauriol with 80 points.
For the organizing association, directed by Massimino Bezzi, now eyes are on the traditional international youth event "Ski Jumping Festival", scheduled for July 31 and August 1 with many young people competing from the nations of the Alps.
