Granerud and Bogataj masters of the Summer Grand Prix, in Chaikovsky closing with the team competition

Ski jumping: the Slovenian takes home the general classification with a 1st and a 2nd place. Italy sixth in today's mixed test won by Norway.

The trip of the Summer Grand Prix to the east, with Chaikovsky's weekend after the one in Kazakhstan, sees the same protagonists of the summer circuit triumph. The two women's races on the Russian springboard see Ursa Bogataj close the accounts of the general classification, with a first and a second place in the space of 24 hours: the Slovenian first beats the Norwegian Silje Opseth and her compatriot Ema Klinec, then folds in race 2 of 1.2 points only to the hostess Irina Avvakumova, with the same Opseth third ahead of the other Slovenians Klinec and Brecl. For the Malsiner sisters, the two blue protagonists in the circuit, an 18th and a 20th place for Lara, while Jessica has always remained out of the points, 36th and 32nd. Only one test at the men's level, but after the Schuchinsk brace Halvor Egner Granerud still dominated: the Norwegian champion was able to reassemble the Russian Evgeniy Klimov in the second series, burning him for just under 4 points, with third place still Scandinavian with a newfound Johann Andre Forfang (net of the many absences in this stage). For Italy, 18th place for Giovanni Bresadola and 24th for Francesco Cecon. Today the closing with the mixed team race and the participation of 10 nations: Norway won in front of Slovenia and Russia, with Japan and the Czech Republic at the foot of the podium in front of Italy, brought to a discrete 6th place with Lara and Jessica Malsiner competing with Giovanni Bresadola and Francesco Cecon.
