Jessica Malsiner takes on a dual commitment between the Intercontinental Cup and Grand Prix, all the Italians selected

The summer ski jumping season is drawing to a close: four Italian women will compete in Einsiedeln this weekend, followed next week in Romania, on Rasnov’s normal hill, by the resumption of the Grand Prix, with another quartet from the national team taking part.

There are plenty of commitments for the Italian athletes from the World Cup teams, just over two months before the start of the winter season, beginning with this weekend’s competitions in Einsiedeln.

In the Swiss venue, an Intercontinental Cup round is scheduled for Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September, with Noelia Vuerich, Martina Ambrosi, Leonie Runggaldier and Jessica Malsiner taking part, accompanied by coach Romed Moroder. From the 17th to the 21st of the month, it will instead be time for another round of the summer Grand Prix: in Rasnov, both a men’s pair and two women will compete, namely Giovanni Bresadola, Francesco Cecon, Martina Zanitzer and Jessica Malsiner, supported by coaches Harald Rodlauer, Theresia Koren, Sebastian Colloredo and Zeno di Lenardo.

Bresadola will travel to Romania a day early for a day of training on the Austrian hill in Stams, together with Alex Insam and technical director Ivo Pertile.
