Slovenia dominates the team event in Willingen: Lindvik returns and takes Norway to 2nd place

Ski jumping: Klinec and Bogataj, together with Lanisek and Cene Prevc, are unrivaled ahead of the Scandinavians by almost 63 pt, with Austria third ahead of Germany. Italy absent.

A decidedly unprecedented mixed-team test, to open the long weekend in Willingen (before the evening qualification towards the men's race, even if in fact there is no cut with only 47 athletes registered). The last round of the World Cup before the Olympic Games therefore begins in the name of Slovenia, literally impregnable with the most balanced team ever for a race of this kind, in which Italy was not registered (9 participating nations) . Ema Klinec and Ursa Bogataj have done their job well, with Cene Prevc and Anze Lanisek in great condition and able to maintain the wide margin on Norway, at the end second with almost 63 points. To underline the return to competitions, after losing the Titisee-Neustadt weekend due to the positivity at Covid that emerged within the Scandinavian team, of an excellent Marius Lindvik, who composed the team together with Granerud, Opseth and Bjoerseth. The last jump was enough to widely reject Austria, however third with Pinkelnig, Kramer (really super), Kraft and Huber, ahead of Germany fourth before Japan (5th) and Poland (6th).
