Nordic Skiingworld leaps
A great event for the cradle of jumping with the world championships.

From September 9th to 14th, in fact, Predazzo will host the world competition dedicated to the Masters, towards the end of a very rich summer in terms of sporting events for the Val di Fiemme.
The stadium of the jump, already world-wide facility in 1991, 2003 and 2013 and, obviously, heart of the competitions of the Winter Olympic Games of Milan-Cortina 2026, after the splendid initiative "Make a jump for Matteo" gone on last August 13, will be at the center of the projects of Unione Sportiva Dolomitica, Nordic Ski and Comune di Predazzo for a very intense September, with three different events.
The first date on the calendar will see protagonists who have not stopped wanting to fly on skis. They are the Master athletes of the jump, almost all former high-level athletes (the oldest in the race will be the Swedish Ake Saloniemi, born in 1944), who will compete for the individual world championship title on all the trampolines of the “G. Dal Ben â€(HS 32, HS 66, HS 104 and HS 135). There will also be a team competition on the brand new HS 66 and two show events (HS 104 and HS 135).
The event will bring around 100 athletes and athletes from 13 countries to Val di Fiemme and will mobilize a total of over 250 guests. Predazzo has conquered the organization of the World Masters Championships thanks to the renovation of the HS 66 trampoline (inaugurated last August 13), a system that turns out to be really flexible, mainly due to the growth of young jumpers but also, as on this occasion, for other events of international character.
Not even the time to lower the curtain on the world competition that immediately a new event appears on the calendar. Sunday, September 15, at the jump stage the protagonists will be tomorrow's champions, who will be in the race, still on the little gem HS 66, in the "Pietro Pertile Trophy", an appointment of the National Youth circuit and Nordic combined circuit dedicated to a very important figure in the history and development of the blue jump.
The grand finale will be held on the weekend of 20-22 September when, for the third consecutive year, Predazzo will host a stage of the Alpen Cup circuit for jumping and Nordic combined. It is a high-level youth event reserved for athletes and athletes of the nations participating in the OPA (Organization of the Alpine Countries). To make the event even more spectacular and to better share it with the entire population, the organizers will bring the Nordic combined mass start in the center of Predazzo, with a striking 2.5 km street circuit.
Also on the occasion of the Alpen Cup, the number of people involved, including athletes, technicians and carers, will touch the 300 presences, the vast majority coming from abroad. Numbers that create economic value for the territory and that confirm the intuition of those who have supported the commitment to make the stadium of the jump a complete system finally and able to contribute to de-seasoning the tourism year also through sporting events of this magnitude.
