Ski jumping: in Rasnov the last appointment before the world championships, Eisenbichler commands in the prologue

The last stage of the World Cup opened in Rasnov in Romania before the world championship in Oberstdorf. Today the qualification-prologue for tomorrow's race was staged, which will be the first of the season on Normal Hill, while a mixed team test is scheduled for Saturday.

The women's sector is also present in Rasnov: today's race was won by Slovenian Nika Kriznar on Sara Takanashi and Silje Opseth, with Lara Malsiner 13a. Tomorrow the girls will be engaged in a second individual race, which will start in the morning. Returning to the men's sector, this afternoon the prologue to tomorrow's race was held, which as expected saw a reduced and medium level starting field. The 49 entrants were then reduced to 48 due to Ryoyu Kobayashi's defection and therefore there were no eliminations. Some of the top nations, in particular Austria and Slovenia, have decided to send the second lines to Romania to finalize the preparation for the World Cup. In the first series on Normal Hill of the season, the values seen so far have been reflected. The best score was in fact that of Markus Eisenbichler, second of the general, who preceded by a length the undisputed ruler of the World Cup: Halvor Egner Granerud. Third place of the day for Kamil Stoch, while Johansson 4th, Zyla 5th and Karl Geiger 6th ended up behind him. The first series is scheduled for tomorrow at 2.15pm.
