The Norwegian, first at the end of the two series, was disqualified in the post-race checks. Second win of the season, 18th in career, for Ryoyu Kobayashi, author of an exceptional leap in the second series. Stoch and Geiger also get on the podium.

The first series gave great surprises. Certainly not that of seeing the Norwegian Halvor Egner Granerud (94 m) at the top of the standings, always in the top positions also on Rasnov's Normal Hill. On the other hand, it is surprising to see at his side, on equal merit, Manuel Fettner, author of the longest jump (96 m). The Austrian veteran has long been among the second lines of the red and white national team and alternates between the Continental Cup and the World Cup. Behind the leading pair are two jumpers who, due to their technical characteristics, are best suited to the competition context: Dawid Kubacki and Karl Geiger, with the Pole only one length off the leaders. Fifth place instead for two other surprises of the day, the Swiss Gregor Deschwanden and the young Austrian Daniel Tschofenig. In the second series the values were then re-established and those jumpers emerged who will compete for the world medals in Oberstdorf. Ryoyu Kobayashi, with an exceptional jump of 98.5m (1.5m beyond the HS point), recovered from 7th to 2nd position, bowing only to the ruler of the season Halvor Egner Granerud. The Norwegian defended himself from the Japanese comeback thanks to the margin accumulated in the first half of the race and with a jump of 96.5 m he preceded him by 2 points. At the end of the race the twist: Granerud disqualified and victory, the second of the season, for Kobayashi. Second place, always in comeback, for Kamil Stoch who preceded Karl Geiger 3rd and teammate Dawid Kubacki 4th. Fettner, Tschofenig and Deschwanden still defended themselves, finishing in the top 10.
