Ski jumping: Marita Kramer makes a void in the qualification on Large Hill, absent Italy

With the small hill races closed, the program on Large Hill started this afternoon in Oberstdorf. The jumpers have in fact been involved in qualifying for tomorrow's race, which will start at 5.15pm.

No blue among the 51 entered the race. In recent days, Jessica Malsiner tested positive for Covid and consequently her sister Lara was placed in quarantine. The world championship ended therefore for the women's team, as well as for the men's one, stopped after the test on Normal Hill. The best score of the day was that of the Austrian Marita Kramer, who from a shaft lower than her opponents reached 137.5 m, 7.5 m further than the others and half a meter beyond the HS point. As usual he then lost several points in the judges' evaluations, closing with 4.5 points of margin on a newfound Ema Klinec and 7.1 points on Sara Takanashi.
