Ski jumping: Slovenia dominant in the mixed team event in Oslo, competition annihilated

Race never in question, dominated from the first to the last jump by Slovenia, favorite of the eve, which has trimmed abysmal gaps to all the other nations. Place of honor for Austria, which preceded the hosts of Norway, with Japan disappointed and fourth in the standings.

Slovenia makes three out of three this season and reaffirms its dominance in this competition format. After the success in the World Cup in Willingen and the gold obtained in Beijing 2022, today Lovro Kos, Timi Zajc, Nika Kriznar and Ursa Bogataj, starting from favorites have respected the prediction, closing the practice since the first series, closed with a margin of 50 points on the second. In the decisive series, the Slovenes limited themselves to managing, increasing the advantage over the competition up to 75 points. The real battle was for the remaining podium positions and involved Austria, Norway and Japan. In the end, thanks to a five-star jump from Kraft, it was the Austrians who took the place of honor ahead of the Norwegians, with Japan an excellent Kobayashi 4th. Fifth place for Germany, which paid dearly for a mistake by Geiger in the first series.
