On the Austrian springboard (where there were no Italians involved), the 32-year-old Pole literally made a void by winning with almost 20 points of margin compared to the Slovenian Anze Lanisek and the host Manuel Fettner, just 2 tenths from second place. At the foot of the podium Wellinger and Nikaido, who had triumphed in Rasnov last week, while at the level of the general classification of the summer circuit, Kubacki stretches to + 70 against Fettner himself, when the last SGP event, scheduled for next weekend (30 September-2 October) in Klingenthal.
Michael Hayboeck, on the other hand, won the Continental Cup race scheduled in the German location that will host the closing of the Summer Grand Prix: the Austrian left behind the Norwegian duo made up of Sondre Ringen and Anders Fannemel. Masle Rok instead triumphed in the men's Alpen Cup race in Liberec, Czech Republic. The Slovenian scored 288.4 points, finishing ahead of the two Austrians Louis Obersteiner and Stephan Embacher. Davide Moreschini finished in 56th place, while Jacopo Bigoni in 60th.
